Why would I want to pay for norton whwn agv is free?

You wouldn't! AVG is perfectly acceptable and works fine. I work in online technical support and I have yet to see AVG causing connection problems even after automatic updates, but it's quite a different story for Norton. It causes a lot of connection issues after updates, especially to secure websites and their support is not free. You're better off with free AVG for anti-virus and Zone Alarm for firewall.

Norton was good once upon a time but now they are highly over rated. Their programs cause system drag and then the program is "free: for one year. THAT SUCKS BIG TIME. Dont be suprised AVG decides to make their program shareware for the high demand for it. All about the money man. Laterz
- people don't know

- people don't care

- people use it because they use to use it

- people are too lazy to change into it

- people believe what they pay is what they get
You shouldn't. AGV is fine, as is free-antivir.
Norton Sux , AVG is so much better

Norton screwed up my com and reduced it to a crawl after i installed it but AVG just places a small system footprint and is not a drain on resources like Norton
