Assuming you are the owner/user of a home/office PC then you should know that practically everything you do and see on your PC may be broadcasting to malicious rogue persons. It may be this threat installed without your knowledge or permission. It may be someone actually installed it on your pc without your knowlege (family, friend, etc). The flip side of this is if you are on some other pc such as an employer's pc or any like scenario - that would be none of your business and you would need to have the boss take care of it. There are legitimate uses for surveillence software. There are also laws that make it illegal. When you are done removing this - you may want to change all your passwords and etc. and check out all accounts. Think back to the time you think you were infected with it to present and then realize the culprits know everything you were doing no doubt. In other words, they know all your passwords for accounts and even the private information such as financial information. Apparently this threat does not take screenshots, so that is one plus already.
