Can't uninstall Norton 360!?

I've been having problems with Norton clogging up my computer causing it to go at a snails pace, so decided to uninstall. I went to control-add and remove programmes and removed all evidence, then I tried installing a free agv anti-virus instead but it can't complete the installation! Any ideas how to fix this?

chances are that norton 360 is removed, though there is still some parts left.

And yes, you can run norton 360 and avg free at the same time, I've done it.

after you uninstall restart, if that don't work go too computer, double click it, go too program files and look for either Norton 360 or symantec and delete it, as long as it isn't running you should be fine, the thing is after you uninstall it, remember to restart.
If you have a Dell try to contact them they can help a lot. Of go to Dell chat and get them to help you, trust me they can help you all kinds of ways. If your computer is to slow keep the security. If you take it of it will just get slower. Some one may hack your acount and that would make it even worse. Good Luck. I hope that I helped.

c:\windows\system32\

go to that folder and delete everything inside, restart, and you'll be fine!
